Complete CDN Launch Loop
Node onboarding, domain config, cache policies, and observability in one workflow, reducing deployment and operations barriers.
A practical capability matrix for launching, accelerating, protecting, observing, and operating a self-hosted CDN platform.
Node onboarding, domain config, cache policies, and observability in one workflow, reducing deployment and operations barriers.
One policy system covers WAF, DDoS, CC, bot detection, and access control — no extra security appliances needed.
Monitoring, grouping, batch delivery, and reports reduce long-term operations cost with multi-tenant support.
L4 (TCP/UDP) and L7 (HTTP/HTTPS) forwarding, multi-layer cache architecture, HTTP/2/3 protocol optimization, Gzip/Brotli compression, and intelligent multi-origin scheduling for high-performance content delivery.
Built-in semantic WAF firewall, Smart CC protection, CC rate limiting, DDoS traffic scrubbing, bot detection, IP/URL blacklists, geo-restriction, and dynamic encryption forming a complete 7-layer security defense system.
Unified visibility from node CPU/memory/bandwidth monitoring to attack alerting, traffic trend analysis, and hot resource identification. Supports CSV/JSON bulk export with a visual operations dashboard.
Multi-tenant management, node grouping, batch configuration delivery, free SSL auto-issue, custom error pages, HTTP header config, open API access, and Web3 node support for long-term operations needs.
Protection, content inspection, and token statistics for AI application gateways.
Technical details about ZyCDN self-hosted CDN system feature modules.
ZyCDN provides five core modules: CDN Delivery (L4/L7 forwarding, multi-layer cache, HTTP/2/3 optimization, multi-origin load balancing), Security (semantic WAF, Smart CC protection, DDoS/CC protection, bot detection, IP lists, geo-restriction), Logs & Monitoring (access/attack logs, traffic stats, node monitoring, alerts), Operations (multi-tenant, node groups, batch config, API access), and AI Protection (prompt injection detection, sensitive content filtering, token usage stats).
ZyCDN uses a two-tier cache architecture: memory cache for fastest access and file cache for larger storage capacity. Custom cache rules by URL path, directory, or file extension are supported. Cache preheat (push content to edge nodes in advance) and cache purge (by URL/directory/global) are available. The system automatically identifies hot content and optimizes caching policies, achieving 95%+ cache hit rates.
ZyCDN supports HTTP/1.1, HTTP/2, and HTTP/3 (QUIC) protocols with Gzip and Brotli compression. L4 forwarding supports TCP and UDP. HTTPS supports TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3 with auto-issue and renewal of Let's Encrypt and ZeroSSL certificates. Custom certificate upload is also supported.
